Motor Lab Game
GasanZammit wanted to reach out to kids directly and give them a chance to get involved. Kids spend a lot of time in the car too, so GZ wanted to see cars the way they do, and get a real sense of how they view them.
Not a product page. Not a sign-up form, but a genuine “what if” handed to the people least concerned with what’s realistic: children aged 4 to 10.
What We Built
An interactive online game where kids design their own car from scratch. Colours, shapes, add-ons, all their choice to make. Parents log them in, kids build, and the design gets submitted as an entry, no manual steps in between.
The Mechanics
Every submission, including the exported design, goes straight to the team’s inbox the moment a child hits submit. Six winning designs, chosen by a GasanZammit judging panel on creativity and originality, featured in the official GZ Desk Calendar. Each of the six winners also gets a €100 voucher for the Model Shop.
The Result
No “problem to solve” here, just an aim to give kids a canvas and let GZ’s brand show up somewhere warmer and more playful than a typical automotive touchpoint.
What The Client Had To Say
This campaign let us step outside the usual automotive space and connect with an audience in a completely different, more playful way. Seeing the creativity in these designs has been the best part of the whole process.
