About this policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on 9hdigital.com, what each one does, how long it lasts and how you can change your choice at any time.

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Some cookies are needed for the site to work. Others are only used if you allow them.

Your choice

When you first visit the site, a banner asks you to accept all cookies, reject the non-essential ones or choose by category. Until you choose, only strictly necessary cookies are used. Analytics, functional and marketing cookies stay off unless you switch them on.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent for analytics, we delete the lead source cookie described below.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off.

  • 9h_consent (set by 9H Digital, lasts 12 months): remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner, so we do not ask you again on every page. It stores only your choice per category and the date you made it. If we change the categories in a way that matters, we ask you again.
  • Stripe (set by Stripe, only on our payment page /pay/): Stripe, our payment provider, uses cookies such as __stripe_mid (about 1 year) and __stripe_sid (about 30 minutes) to process your payment securely and to prevent fraud. They are only set when you use the payment page.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (set by Google): if you allow analytics, we load Google Tag Manager, which runs Google Analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<ID> (up to 2 years) to count visits and see how people use the site, for example which pages are visited most. Without your consent, Google Tag Manager is not loaded at all.
  • Microsoft Clarity (set by Microsoft): if you allow analytics, Google Tag Manager also loads Microsoft Clarity, which we use to understand how visitors use the site. Without your consent, Clarity is not loaded.
  • Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (privacy-friendly, no cookies: Web Analytics counts page views and referrers, Speed Insights measures how fast pages load): if you allow analytics, we use these two Vercel tools. They set no cookies. Without your consent, neither is loaded at all.
  • 9h_lead_source (set by 9H Digital, lasts 30 days, only if you allow analytics): remembers how you first found us during your first visit: the campaign details in the link you followed (for example utm_source or utm_campaign), the website that referred you and the first page you landed on. If you then send us a form, this information is attached to your message so we know which campaign or website brought you to us. It is not used for anything else and is deleted if you withdraw analytics consent.

Functional cookies (only with your consent)

  • BambooHR job board (set by BambooHR, on our careers page): our list of open jobs is provided by BambooHR. If you allow functional cookies, or choose to load the job board on the careers page, BambooHR's service is loaded and may set its own cookies. See BambooHR's privacy notice for details.

Marketing cookies (only with your consent)

If you allow marketing cookies, advertising tags run through Google Tag Manager may measure our campaigns and show you relevant 9H adverts on other websites. These tags are not used unless you switch marketing on.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site, such as remembering your cookie choice or making a payment, may not work.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page.
