9H was approached by The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA), the single regulator of financial services in Malta, to provide them with a new brand identity and create a new experience for their online users.

Brand Identification

We began by analysing competitor brands to understand industry trends and define the keywords and values that best represent the MFSA. This research shaped the project’s direction and informed the brand’s aesthetic language. We then focused on developing a new logo grounded in these insights, outlining its core characteristics before design began. Through extensive sketching and custom type exploration, we created a modern, elegant, and distinctive logotype that truly reflects the MFSA.

A New UX Experience

Delivered a bright, elegant, wide-format design with strong human elements, cultural imagery, and Maltese visuals to build trust, transparency, and user recognition.
